Good morning,
I really enjoy reading your website and have reviewed several articles from it during my search for an engagement ring. I’ve attempted to pull together as much information as possible and judge based solely on what I’ve read, but I’m in the final stages of finding a ring for purchase.
I’m not sure if you typically do this type of thing, but I’ve narrowed it down to three diamonds and I was curious if you might be willing to take a quick look and offer feedback on the three options from Blue Nile:
Blue Nile LD13957179
Blue Nile LD14016541
Blue Nile LD14016552
Thanks so much for the consideration.
Unfortunately, diamonds #1 and #3 have a prominent bow-tie, I wouldn’t recommend them. Diamond #2 looks a bit better. It’s on the longer side though, is this something you’re after? Typically, the 1.35-1.45 L:W ratio is considered ideal.
Thanks for the details regarding the bow tie. I looked further into that matter and tried to come up with a few more. Again, I appreciate your expertise in this field and really thank you for reviewing some of these on my behalf. I hope it’s not too much of a hassle. Here are a few more I’d like to respectfully ask for your thoughts:
Blue Nile LD14033190
Blue Nile LD14057510
Blue Nile LD14057598
Out of the three newest stones, this one is my favorite: Blue Nile LD14057510. It looks great both on paper and on the video. The remaining two are either not eye-clean or have a strong bow-tie.
It looks like the Blue Nile LD14057510 was just sold. Darn!
I’d greatly appreciate if you find any additional options you like in the $5,000-$6,000 range.
That’s too bad. Good diamonds move pretty quickly.
I found this oval that I really liked:
Blue Nile LD13200541
I really appreciate the good news, I purchased it!
Thanks again for all of your help!
That’s wonderful news! I’m glad you liked my recommendation so much. You got yourself a beautiful diamond.
