Cushion cuts retain a large amount of diamond color, so we recommend an H grade or better. For diamond clarity, look for an SI1 or SI2 graded diamond for the best value.
Different than other shapes, Cushion Cuts come in variations, including standard, modern and modified. Cushion Cuts are usually square but you can find rectangle stones as well. For square diamonds, look for a length to width ratio between 1.0-1.09. For rectangles, aim for 1.15-1.25.
