Q&A: Looking for an Oval-Shaped Diamond for a Platinum Double Halo Setting Within a $3k Budget

Dear Team,

I’m looking to buy an engagement diamond ring for my fiancée and my budget is roughly $3,000. Oval cut, platinum ring (below).

I can see that you chose a setting in platinum that costs $2,880. That means that you only have $120 for the diamond if you don’t want to go over 3k. That’s not enough for any oval. BUT, if you change it to 14K White Gold and put the diamond below in, you will get a gorgeous ring within 3k.
